Culver City Park
2017TYPE: Parks
CLIENT: Joey Miller
SIZE: 30,000 sqft
COLLABORATOR: SALT (Landscape)
RADAR collaborated with SALT Landscape Architects to design a park at the intersection of three major roadways and a towering 50-foot ficus tree. The park was to feature year round outdoor dining, retail, and entertainment. RADAR designed two buildings on the site, to house food and drink, pop-up events and support space for park programming. The site is near the Metro and a large retail development, and the design responds with varied conditions that push for accessibility and visibility.
