RADAR was selected to perform full architectural services, including design, documentation, space-planning, cost estimating coordination and project management for the redesign and relocation of Metro’s Dorothy Peyton Gray Transportation Library and Archive, owned by the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority (LACMTA).

Recognized as one of the most comprehensive transit operator-owned library resource in the US, the Research and Archive library serves the public, government and research institutions. A neighbor to the historic Union Station, it will include a state-of-the-art Archive featuring a climate-controlled environment and unique mobile storage to house over 2,900 linear feet of collections and rare artifacts from Los Angeles’ transportation history.
