RADAR provided architectural services to the City of Riverside for its Missing Middle Prototype Plans Program, which provides residents and developers with free, pre-approved housing plans to help streamline the development of infill housing. Funded through SCAG and shaped by community and stakeholder input, the program includes two Spanish Revival-inspired prototypes: a two-story duplex with three-bedroom, two-bathroom units and a one-story bungalow with two bedrooms and two bathrooms. By reducing design and permitting barriers, the program supports the creation of attainable housing options while strengthening Riverside’s neighborhoods and advancing local housing goals.
