Padaro Lane Beach House

2008
TYPE: Residential
CLIENT: Amy Lippman
SIZE: 3,000 sqft
COLLABORATOR: SALT (Landscape)
An approximately 3,000 sqft beach house was completely gutted and reconfigured. The existing building had accrued from a series of illogical additions and did not take advantage of the site, its orientation and views. Entrance by car and overall circulation were reconceived, ceilings raised, and all finish surfaces replaced. A new open, double-height, glazed stairwell faces west to catch the ocean breezes.
