QUARANZINE #73:

“It’s turning into Los Angeles week for this project, and I have no problem with this at all. Here architect Rachel Allen directs her brilliant thinking toward the collapsing market for commercial office space because of the pandemic, the shift toward working from home, and the potential to reuse office buildings as affordable housing. This is such an important reflection on what could be a major shift in how our large cities function. Rachel wrote this back in late March, but thought it might fit for this project as well and I’m so glad she has allowed it to be shared. QUARANZINE’s audience certainly includes a number of activists working on solutions for the unhoused.”
