Risk Rock Studios

TYPE: Master plan
CLIENT: Artists for Trauma
SIZE: 1.16 acres
Artists For Trauma recently commissioned RADAR to re-envision the studio facility of internationally known graffiti artist Risky (aka Kelly Graval). The project’s goal is to bring the studio into universal accessibility standards, focused around a continuous path called the Healing Highway. The path weaves through the property and makes all of the complex’s various facilities accessible, including studios for media from metal to printmaking, garden spaces, kitchen and meeting areas, and support spaces.

RADAR was proud to collaborate on this rendering of the design, which Risky amplified using his dynamic signature style. This piece was auctioned off at the AFT Gala in October 2021 and raised $25,000 toward actualizing the design.
