Santa Maria Senior Housing

RADAR recently worked with a longtime developer of affordable senior housing on their proposal to purchase excess land from this central coast city, as part of their goal of adding a significant number of units to their downtown area.

RADAR proposed designs for two significant sites, one adjacent to a park and the other on the commercial corridor. Both schemes center around shared, open public space and take into consideration both the City’s existing density and it’s goals—encouraging pedestrian activity and a lively streetscape.
